Description
Medical device indicated to soften and then mechanically remove earwax formations inside the ear canal. The properties of sodium carbonate, sodium salt of carbonic acid combined with glycerin, allow OTOL to soften the presence of cerumen, facilitating their removal. The presence of glycerin allows the ear canal to be lubricated.
Components
Purified water, glycerin, sodium carbonate.
How to use
- Children: instill 4/5 drops into the ear canal for three daily applications. After instilling the emollient drops, the patient should lie on the side opposite the ear to be treated for 5-10 minutes.
- Adults: instill 5/6 drops into the ear canal for four daily applications. After instilling the emollient drops, the patient should lie on the side opposite the ear to be treated for 5-10 minutes.
Warnings
Before using on children under 3 years of age, consult your doctor for a correct diagnosis related to the formation of earwax. Do not use in case of perforated eardrum or concomitant drug therapy. Remove any hearing aids before instilling the drops. Clean the dropper thoroughly after use. Do not use if allergic or hypersensitive to one of the components. If the product gives rise to sensitization phenomena, stop treatment and consult your doctor. Do not ingest. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of accidental contact, rinse eyes with plenty of water. Keep out of reach of children. Close the bottle after use. Do not use the device after the expiry date indicated on the package. Do not use if the packaging is not intact.
Conservation
The expiry date refers to the product in intact packaging and correctly stored. Close the bottle after use. Store at room temperature. Do not expose to heat sources. Do not dispose of the container in the environment, do not use the device after the expiry date indicated on the package. Do not use if the packaging is not intact.
