Description
Orthosis for stabilizing the wrist and thumb in a functional position, maintaining the mobility of the other fingers and the prehensility of the hand. Rigid and moldable palmar splint for the relative immobilization of the wrist and moldable radial splint for the relative immobilization of the first ray of the hand. Comfortable padded lining. Cushion for the comfort of the palm of the hand. Elastic wrist band and thumb tab with Velcro closure.
The medical device limits the movement of the wrist and thumb.
How to use
Insert the hand into the orthosis so that the palmar splint is aligned with the forearm and the radial splint is aligned with the thumb and that the last phalanx is free. Tighten the Velcro closure on the wrist to obtain a firm but comfortable support. Pull the tab with the Velcro closure by wrapping it around the thumb, so that it passes between the thumb and index finger from the dorsal to the palmar side. Then secure the tab through the Velcro closure.
Washing instructions
Hand wash in warm water with neutral soap or detergent, rinse well, wring gently, let dry horizontally. Do not bleach, do not tumble dry, do not iron, do not dry clean.
