RIGID THUMB ORTHOSIS FOR REST
Description
Immobilize the thumb in a resting position by opening the commissure between the index finger and thumb. The alignment of the bones limits the forces exerted on the trapeziometacarpal joint and relieves pain.
During the night and in all situations in which the hand is not used, regularly wearing the EPITACT rest orthosis helps relieve joint pain at the base of the thumb and helps limit the evolution of rhizarthrosis.
Thanks to the anatomical reinforcements that allow it to adapt perfectly to the morphology of the hand, the rigid rest orthosis offers optimal comfort. Light and ultra-thin, it seems like you are not wearing it.
Maintenance
Hand wash at 30°C with mild soap, without detergents or bleach. Rinse well. Dry by pressing. Do not dry near direct heat sources (radiator, sunlight). Do not use stain removers.
Warnings
In case of severe edema: monitor the hand during use. Remove the device if it is too tight and impedes circulation. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not apply any creams or ointments before putting on the orthosis.
Do not use near flames or incandescent materials.
Do not use on skin lesions.
