MTHFR-P 30 TABLETS PHARMARTE
MTHFR Prevent
Description
Food supplement with calcium L-methylfolate (or L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate) 400 mcg, B vitamins and Zinc designed to restore the physiological mechanism of the metabolic defect resulting from a family history of mutations or genetic polymorphisms of the Methylene-Tetrahydrofolate Reductase (MTHFR) gene.
Contains calcium L-methylfolate, vitamins B2, B6, B12 and zinc useful for making up for nutritional deficiencies or increased needs of the components it contains:
1. Calcium L-methylfolate: methyl group donor used by MTHFR for the conversion of homocysteine to methionine even in the presence of the genetic defect;
2. vitamin B2: coenzyme involved in normal energy metabolism;
3. vitamin B12: cofactor of methionine synthase in the regeneration of homocysteine into methionine;
4. vitamin B6: cofactor of enzymes involved in the conversion of homocysteine into cysteine;
5. Zinc: Enzyme cofactor in both reconversion pathways. Calcium L-methylfolate is used by the body as such without undergoing biotransformation processes.
It represents the almost total form of folate present in the blood circulation.
Ingredients
Bulking agents: microcrystalline cellulose, dibasic calcium phosphate; coating agent: acetylated pregelatinized starch; zinc oxide; coating agent: talc; anti-caking agents: silicon dioxide, talc, magnesium salts of fatty acids, cross-linked sodium carboxymethylcellulose; coating agent: glycerol; colouring: E 170; vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride), vitamin B2 (riboflavin), calcium L-methylfolate; colouring: E172; vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin).
