Description
Multi-mineral multivitamin food supplement with lactic ferments and 100% vegetal DHA, specifically for women during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The intake of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) by the mother contributes to the normal development of the brain and eyes in the fetus and in breastfed infants 1 .
Megan contains Quatrefolic, Folic Acid in biologically active form (Methylfolate). Folate contributes to the growth of maternal tissues during pregnancy. Supplemental intake of Folic Acid increases maternal folate status. Low maternal folate status is a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the fetus 2 .
Iodine contributes to normal cognitive function. Megan can also be taken in the period before conception. 1 The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 200 mg of DHA in addition to the recommended daily dose of omega-3 fatty acids for adults, which is equal to 250 mg of DHA and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA).
2 The beneficial effect in women of childbearing age is obtained with a daily supplemental intake of folic acid of 400 mcg for at least one month before and up to three months after conception.

How to use
