Modulen IBD supports the diet of those suffering from chronic inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD). Under medical prescription, it is possible to completely replace one's diet for short periods (6-8 weeks) or integrate it with Modulen IBD. Transforming Growth Factor-beta2, a cytokine present in acid casein and of which Module IBD is rich, has anti-inflammatory activity. Therefore, patients over 5 years of age suffering from Crohn's disease will find relief in a few weeks, alleviating the symptoms and promoting the healing of the intestinal mucosa.

How to use
If taken as a simple supplement, during a remission phase of the disease, 200 g to 300 g of product diluted in a quantity of water that varies from 850 ml to 750 ml, depending on the concentration prescribed by the doctor, will be sufficient; if instead one feeds exclusively on Modulen IBD, when the disease is in the acute phase, the necessary quantity will be 400 g per day, equal to a jar. If necessary, Modulen IBD can be administered enterally. The drink can also be flavored by adding freeze-dried coffee, fruit pulp or low-fat cocoa.
It can also be taken in addition to pharmacological medical therapy. It can be used from 5 years of age onwards.
