Description
Food for special medical purposes indicated for the dietary management of cholestatic liver disease, based on vitamin E in a water-soluble formula.
Ingredients
Water, D-alpha tocopheryl polyethylene glycol-1,000 succinate (TPGS); acidifier: citric acid; preservatives: potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate; linoleic acid.

How to use
As prescribed by your doctor, based on your serum vitamin levels.
As a guideline, we recommend 1 ml (50 mg/75 IU of vitamin E) per 3 kg of body weight per day.
Shake the bottle well. Using the included measuring cup, take the prescribed amount directly or mix it with water or other permitted liquid.
Warnings
Do not use if the seal is broken or missing. DEKAs Aqua-E must be used under medical supervision, in children over three years of age and in adults with cholestatic liver disease. The administration of vitamin E in water-soluble form makes the food suitable for vitamin supplementation in the dietary management of cholestatic liver disease. It cannot be used as the sole source of nutrition. The product may pose health risks if consumed by people who do not have the disease, disorder or pathological condition for which the product is indicated. The doctor must evaluate the appropriateness of using the product in patients with significant renal insufficiency, with vitamin K deficiency or under treatment with oral anticoagulants, during pregnancy. Keep out of reach of children.
Conservation
