Delayed release micro tablets. Amino acid mixture free of tyrosine and phenylalanine, indicated for the dietary treatment of subjects from three years of age with proven tyrosinemia. Micro tablets are indicated for children from three years of age in relation to their ability to ingest, assessed by the attending physician.
Food for special medical purposes.
Ingredients
Bulking agent: cellulose; L-lysine, L-leucine, anti-caking agents: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, magnesium salts of fatty acids; L-arginine, L-glutamine, L-valine, lysoleucine, L-proline, L-alanine, glycine, L-threonine, L-serine, L-histidine, L-aspartic acid, coating agents: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, cellulose, fatty acids; L-cystine, L-tryptophan, L-methionine, colour: titanium dioxide; L-taurine, L-carnitine.
How to use
Take the prescribed amount with water or other permitted fluids.
Micro-tablets are tasteless; to avoid losing this characteristic, it is recommended not to chew them, not to pulverize them and not to dissolve them.
According to the doctor's prescription, taking into account the age, body weight, clinical conditions of the subject and the characteristic that the tablets are delayed release. TYR medimicro 3H releases the amino acids contained in the tablets within 3 hours of the subject's intake. The cap of a jar contains approximately 13 g of micro tablets (equal to approximately 8 g of equivalent proteins).
Warnings
TYR medimicro 3H must be used under medical supervision by subjects with homocystinuria.
TYR medimicro 3H cannot be used as a sole power source. Keep out of reach of children.
Conservation
After use, carefully close the jar and store in a cool, dry place at a temperature not exceeding 25°C, away from light and direct heat sources. The minimum shelf life refers to the product correctly stored in its intact packaging.
