Description

A two-piece mechanical attachment system that combines the SenSura double-layer adhesive with an audible 'click' to ensure the pouch is securely locked to the baseplate. SenSura; Click devices are available with a SenSura and SenSura Xpro baseplate, flat or convex. These devices include voidable, closed or urostomy pouches. The wide range consists of a range of baseplates in pre-cut or cut-to-size formats for maximum customization, accompanied by pouches in a variety of sizes available in transparent and opaque versions. The SenSura adhesive consists of 2 layers:
- protective layer; protects the skin from material exiting the stoma.
- Layer close to the skin; keeps skin healthy by absorbing excess moisture.
SenSura Xpro adhesive provides additional protection against large leakage. It is suitable for people with an ileostomy or urostomy who have large leakages that can cause standard adhesives to peel off too quickly.
The pouch is securely attached to the baseplate using a mechanical locking system. An audible 'click' confirms that the pouch is securely locked to the baseplate. Before the pouch is closed, it can be rotated to the desired position without having to remove it from the baseplate. The pouch can be removed from the baseplate with double-layer adhesive, allowing the pouch to be changed more frequently than the baseplate.
Convex plate, for stomas that are difficult to manage
SenSura baseplates are available with Convex Light. The oval-shaped Convex Light baseplate is specifically designed for stomas that are difficult to manage (for example, a stoma that is flush, retracted, or located in a skin fold). It applies gentle, direct pressure to the peristomal skin to reduce the risk of leakage by allowing the stoma to protrude.
