Description
SenSura Mio Plan for urostomy with lining with drain tap, is a one-piece bag indicated for urine collection.
Thanks to Bodyfit Technology, SenSura Mio devices feature an elastic adhesive that allows them to adapt perfectly to skin irregularities, offering high instant adhesion for as long as necessary, safety during use and intact skin upon removal.
The adhesive consists of two layers:
- the innermost layer has a special network structure, which incorporates small hydrocolloids: in contact with the excretions it transforms into a cohesive and compact gel, with high resistance to erosion. This creates a protective seal that reduces the onset of infiltrations together with the maintenance of the correct gradient of skin humidity, favoring tissue repair;
- in the outermost and thinnest layer, the elastic capacity of the adhesive allows this layer to adapt perfectly to the irregularities of the skin, offering high instant adhesion and consequent safety in use.
The flat plate is indicated for people with regular abdominal conformation, thanks to the BodyFit Technology, it is made of an elastic adhesive; it has an oval shape and its elastic structure guarantees adhesion, safety, skin protection and atraumaticity during removal on all surfaces of the peristomal skin.
It is available both in a version that can be cut to the desired size (following the guide printed on the protective mask of the adhesive surface) and in a pre-cut version.
The SenSura Mio range has a turquoise adhesive removal tab for greater visibility, and an easy-grip thumb grip.
There is also a simple cutting guide: the cutting circles are soft, there are different cutting sizes with strong contrasts for users with poor vision, the circles do not intersect.
The bag
The open-bottom bag is equipped with a resealable and retractable tap in soft material that allows it to be connected to most leg and bed collection devices. It can be closed and positioned under the retractable pocket in order to guarantee greater discretion and safety.
The bag also features the innovative "Multichamber" technology that reduces noise due to urine movement by distributing it into five separate chambers, making it less bulky. It is equipped with an anti-reflux valve.
The lined bag allows for total discretion of the contents. It is entirely lined with water-repellent Ökotex fabric and has an inspection window on the back for careful monitoring of the stoma and effluents.
Conservation
It is recommended to store the product in its original, intact packaging, away from light and humidity, at a constant temperature between 15°C and 30°C.
Validity of intact packaging: 36 months.
