Rogonil
CE Medical Device, class I, non-sterile.Specific ointment for the control of irritation phenomena of the anogenital area in pediatric age. Particularly indicated in the symptomatic treatment of itching, redness, burning during anogenital inflammation of pediatric and pre-pubertal age on an irritant basis (e.g. diaper rash), allergic (e.g. atopic dermatitis), infectious (e.g. vulvovaginitis from Staphylococcus). Adjuvant in the symptomatic treatment of vulvar repercussions of systemic diseases (e.g. chickenpox). The treatment is compatible with pharmacological interventions if required.
Contains Adelmidrol, a substance belonging to the Aliamide class, capable of downmodulating mast cell degranulation, and consequently exerting a rebalancing action on tissue hyperactivity.
2-dodecenedioic acid (transtraumatic acid) facilitates the convergence of local epithelial cells, promoting the “restitutio ad integrum” of the muco-cutaneous barrier, which, in hyper-reactive conditions, is compromised. The product uses an innovative mucoadhesive technology, such that the substances present in the formulation are transported and retained dynamically in the application site, thanks to the bond between hyaluronic acid and CD44 receptors expressed by inflamed epithelial cells.
How to use
Apply 2 or more times a day, distributing the ointment evenly over the anogenital area until symptoms subside or otherwise according to medical advice. In the case of diaper rash, spread a thin layer of product over the entire affected area at each diaper change, after careful washing. The product is formulated to ensure an effective protective mucocutaneous barrier.
Warnings
The product is not indicated for subjects already sensitized to the components present in the formulations.
