Vessilen 50ml Kit With 50ml Syringe, Needle And Luer Lock Adapter

Sterile medical device for endovesical instillations intended to form a protective and waterproof barrier that promotes the natural restoration of the superficial integrity of the urothelium altered by dysmetabolic situations associated with inflammatory noxae of various origins. The presence of Adelmidrol promotes the restoration of the physiological level of palmitoylethanolamide in the bladder interstitium decreased by the inflammatory phenomenon resulting from the progressive loss of control of the normal regulation of endovesical mast cells. In this way, the phenomenon of depolymerization of hyaluronic acid, both instilled and naturally present in the urothelium, on which the ability of the polysaccharide to restore the superficial integrity of the urothelium depends, is controlled. Therefore, the association of hyaluronic acid and Adelmidrol determines a synergistic effect capable of re-establishing the superficial integrity of the urothelium altered by dysmetabolic situations associated with inflammatory noxae of various origins.

Components
Bottle: Adelmidrol (INN), sodium hyaluronate, sodium chloride, disodium edetate, phosphate buffer 10 mM pH 7.0, water to 50 ml.

How to use
One intravesical instillation every 7 days or as directed by your doctor. It is recommended to handle the devices that make up the Vessilen Kit only after thoroughly washing your hands and taking all possible precautions to reduce the risk of product contamination. Wait for the bladder to empty spontaneously, insert a sterile catheter into the bladder and wait for the bladder to empty completely. Withdraw the sterile solution from the glass bottle with the sterile disposable syringe and needle provided. Remove the needle from the syringe. Connect the sterile and disposable Luer-Lock Adapter provided to the syringe. Connect the Luer-Lock Adapter to the catheter and instill all the solution contained in the syringe into the bladder.

Warnings
Instillation of Vessilen via catheter must be performed by competent medical personnel using a probe, syringe or cannula. Vessilen is a single-use medical device. Do not re-sterilize, do not reuse unused portions of solution, do not use if the package is opened or damaged as the sterility of the product is compromised. Reusing the device could lead to risks of contamination of the patient. There are no known side effects of the product if used according to the instructions provided by the manufacturer. There are currently no known interactions between Vessilen and medicinal products normally used in the reference pathologies. The product is not indicated for subjects already sensitized to the components present in the formulation. Discontinue treatment in the event of any undesirable effect. Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date.

Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place.
Validity for intact package : 36 months.
