Description
Capsules for oral use for the treatment of vaginitis and vaginosis.
Medical device suitable for restoring and maintaining the balance of the vaginal bacterial flora and for the treatment of vaginitis, bacterial vaginosis (such as, for example, those caused by Atopobium vaginae and Gardnerella vaginalis) and vaginal infections of fungal origin (such as those caused by Candida albicans). The restoration of the physiological lactobacilli flora, which promotes normal vaginal pH with consequent eradication of pathogenic bacteria, represents a useful approach to prevent recurrences.
The Respecta contained acts on the vaginal microbial ecosystem, reducing symptoms related to dysbiosis and recurrent infections thanks to the clinically demonstrated ability of probiotic strains to migrate from the intestinal lumen to the female genital tract.
Respecta complex has a triple action:
- adheres to the epithelium of the vaginal mucosa with a consequent barrier effect;
- counteracts the attack of pathogenic microorganisms by preventing their adhesion to the vaginal mucosa;
- protects against infections by creating an environment hostile to the proliferation of suitable microorganisms through the production of lactic acid which lowers the vaginal pH.
How to use
During the acute phase, take 2 capsules a day for 5 days with a glass of water, preferably away from meals.
Continue treatment by taking 1 capsule per day for a further 10 days, or as advised by your doctor.
The product can also be taken during antibiotic therapy.
Components
Respecta complex* (lactobacillus acidophilus LMG S-29159, lactobacillus rhamnosus SD5675 and lactoferrin RCX), corn starch; anti-caking agents: vegetable magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide; capsule: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (coloring: E171).
*5 billion live cells and 50 mg of lactoferrin per capsule.
Warnings
The capsules are intended for oral use only, do not use the product for a different administration route than that indicated in this leaflet.
Keep out of reach of children. Do not use the product after the expiration date.
Do not use the product in case of hypersensitivity to one of its components.
Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
Validity for intact package: 24 months.
