Description
Medical device for ophthalmic use consisting of a slightly liposmolar solution comprising a combination of medium molecular weight hyaluronic acid and highly biocompatible liposomes. Indicated to relieve redness, dryness and ocular fatigue in cases of dry eye syndrome in particular caused by inadequate quality of the lipid layer of the ocular surface, environmental stress (dust, allergens, smoke, air conditioning, environmental pollution) and visual stress due to the use of computers, television, video terminals. The product can also be administered during the use of contact lenses to improve ocular lubrication and comfort.
How to use
1. Open the protective aluminum bag.
2. Separate a single-dose wing from the strip.
3. Twist and break the cap of the vial.
4. Gently squeeze the body of the vial and instill 2-3 drops in each eye.
5. The vial is resealable; after instillation, close it immediately with the appropriate cap and reuse the residual contents within the next 12 hours.
6. Keep unused vials in the aluminum pouch until the contents are finished.
7. The vial product is for single-patient use.
8. The product is compatible with contact lenses.
Components
Lipoid, hyaluronic acid sodium salt, sodium chloride, sodium citrate tribasic dihydrate, citric acid monohydrate, purified water.
Warnings
The product is for ophthalmic use only. Once opened, the single-dose vial can be closed with the appropriate cap and the residual content must be used within 12 hours. If necessary, consult your doctor for use in pediatric age and for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Do not use the product if the aluminum bag is damaged and/or if the vials are not perfectly intact. Keep out of reach of children. Before opening the vial to administer the drops, it is advisable to thoroughly clean your hands. During instillation, do not touch the eye or other surfaces with the dispensing end of the vial. Do not use the product in case of known incompatibility with even a single component of the formulation. If necessary, check with your ophthalmologist to ensure that the eye drops are compatible with the contact lenses used. In case of problems such as sensitization, irritation or burning during use, immediately stop treatment and consult a doctor.
Any administration of ophthalmic drugs should be carried out at least 15 minutes after instillation of eye drops, especially if they contain benzalkonium chloride, or other quaternary ammonium salts, to avoid precipitation of hyaluronic acid. The administration of ophthalmic drugs at the same time as eye drops must be carried out under the supervision of a doctor who can evaluate possible interactions. Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package. Do not dispose of the container in the environment after use. In the event of any complaint or serious incident occurring in relation to the device, it is necessary to report the incident to the manufacturer. The product contains soy.
Conservation
Store in a dry place, away from heat sources and direct exposure to sunlight, at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C, placing unused vials in the aluminum bag.
