Description
Sterile solution for ophthalmic use at physiological pH based on hyaluronic acid cross-linked with urea, so as to increase and improve the natural mechanical properties of hyaluronic acid, making it able to resist degradation by hyaluronidase for longer than natural hyaluronic acid. The cross-linked structure that hyaluronic acid forms provides hydration and is able to retain water molecules for a long time so as to improve the intrinsic lubricating properties of hyaluronic acid while, at the same time increasing its hydrating action, it is indicated as an adjuvant in dry eye syndrome. Cross-linked hyaluronic acid is also effective in counteracting free radicals and in exerting a re-epithelializing action for greater protection of the corneal surface. Cross-linked hyaluronic acid gives the product lubricating, hydrating and repairing properties; It is also able to relieve dry eyes due to dry eye syndrome and provide relief in case of tiredness or eye irritation caused by inflammatory processes or environmental conditions. Eumill DRYREPAIR relieves redness, dryness, fatigue and ocular discomfort caused by dry eye syndrome, environmental factors such as wind, smoke, pollution, prolonged exposure to sunlight, salt, sea or swimming pool water, intense study or work, prolonged use of the computer, long periods of driving, tearing problems caused by inflammatory processes, eye surgery or cosmetic eyelid surgery and chronic blepharitis. It hydrates and lubricates the cornea and conjunctiva in case of dry eyes due to the use of contact lenses. This formula has been developed to provide maximum comfort from the first moments after application. It is suitable for daily use both day and night. It does not contain preservatives and/or molecules with anti-inflammatory or vasoconstrictor action.
Eumill DRYREPAIR is indicated for:
- To restore and improve tear film stability in dry eye syndrome;
- Following refractive surgery;
- To relieve the eyes in case of redness, fatigue and discomfort of the eye or of the ocular mucosa due to:
- environmental factors (air conditioning, excessive exposure to sunlight, wind, smoke, pollution, sea or swimming pool water and saltiness);
- dry eyes following excessive fatigue due to: studying, working on the computer for long periods;
- abnormal tearing following inflammation and chronic blepharitis;
- abnormal tearing following various types of eye surgery or cosmetic eyelid surgery;
- use of soft or semi-rigid contact lenses.
Contains no preservatives.
How to use
Wash your hands thoroughly. After opening the protective bag:
Separate a single-dose vial from the bar of 5 containers. Rotate the flap and remove the closing cap which can be used to close the container. Apply a light pressure on the body of the single-dose vial and instill 2/3 drops in each eye whenever necessary.
Components
Cross-linked sodium hyaluronate in aqueous solution (of which cross-linked sodium hyaluronate 0.4%), Trometamol, Hydrochloric Acid 2N, Sodium Chloride, Water for injections.
Warnings
The product is for single-person use only. The product is for ophthalmic use only. Do not use the product if the aluminum pouch is damaged or if the single-dose vial is not perfectly closed. During application, do not touch the eye or any other surface with the tip of the single-dose. Due to its characteristic viscosity, slightly blurred vision may occur immediately after instillation, which disappears quickly. Contraindicated in subjects with hypersensitivity problems to any component of the preparation. In case of problems during treatment, stop using it and consult a doctor. Do not use the product beyond the expiry date shown on the package and on the single-dose. Dispose of used vials in accordance with local waste management regulations. Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Conservation
Store between 2°C and 30°C, in a dry place away from heat sources and direct exposure to sunlight.
After use, immediately close the single-dose container: the contents can be reused within 12 hours of first opening.
