Description
Sterile product based on liposomes, vitamin A, vitamin E and amino acids without preservatives.
LACRISEK Plus Spray stabilizes the lipid layer of the tear film, regulates and corrects the lubrication of the ocular surface.
Vitamins A and E, known for their soothing and emollient properties, in synergy with liposomes (hydrogenated phosphatidylcholine), provide functional support to the lipid component present on the eyelid rim. Furthermore, vitamins A and E, as liposome stabilizers, contribute to improving ocular and periocular symptoms associated with inflammatory conditions of allergic and/or infectious origin.
The amino acids L-proline, L-glycine, L-lysine hydrochloride and L-leucine, contained in the product, increase the lubrication of the ocular surface and can contribute to improving the protection of the epithelia subjected to stress of various kinds.
The lipid component of the tear film is fundamental in the function of containing the tear fluid, as well as in the control of its evaporation.
The use of LACRISEK Plus Spray supports the functionality of the lipid secretions of the ocular adnexa glands (Meibomian, Zeiss and Moll glands), contributing to the stabilization of the lipid component of the tear film.
How to use
Apply 1-2 sprays of LACRISEK Plus Spray to the eye, preferably keeping the eyelids closed. It is recommended to apply LACRISEK Plus Spray 3-4 times a day.
In case of severe discomfort, LACRISEK Plus Spray can also be applied more frequently.
In the presence of nasal discharge and adherent secretions, it is advisable to carry out adequate ocular and periocular hygiene using sterile, disposable medicated gauze, before applying 1-2 sprays of LACRISEK Plus Spray per eye.
Spray the product from a distance of 10 cm.
LACRISEK Plus Spray can also be used in the presence of cosmetics: in this case, apply only one spray from a greater distance (about 20 cm). When using for the first time, spray the product empty until the first nebulization.
Keep the bottle upright while dispensing.
Components
Retinyl palmitate (vitamin A), alpha-tocopherol (vitamin E), hydrogenated phospholipids, monobasic sodium phosphate, dibasic sodium phosphate, sodium chloride, L-proline, L-glycine, L-lysine hydrochloride, L-leucine and purified water.
Warnings
Product for external ophthalmic use only.
To eliminate the risk of contamination of the solution, do not allow the nebulizer to come into contact with the eye or other objects.
To avoid damage to the ocular surface, do not allow the nebulizer to come into contact with the eye during instillation.
Small amounts of the product swallowed will not cause any problems.
In case of concomitant administration of topical ophthalmic drugs, consult your doctor.
Do not use the product if the bottle is damaged.
Keep the preparation out of the sight and reach of children.
Contraindicated in case of known hypersensitivity to the components of the product or other closely related substances from a chemical point of view.
There are no known side effects after administration of the product. In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use of the product and consult a doctor. After application of the product, a slight and temporary blurring of vision may occur.
Conservation
Store at temperatures between 4°C and 25°C.
Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the single-dose container.
Do not dispose of in the environment.
