Toothpaste formulated to combat dentinal sensitivity and be gentle on teeth and gums. For best results in combating dentinal sensitivity Dentosan recommends using a soft bristle toothbrush with Dentosan Sensitive toothpaste.
Dentin sensitivity is the uncomfortable or painful sensation that is perceived when the dentin, one of the most sensitive parts of the tooth, is exposed, allowing external stimuli to reach the nerve endings located in the pulp of the tooth. The causes of the appearance of dentin sensitivity can be multiple: gingival regression, post-operative trauma, but also persistent brushing with abrasive toothpastes or very hard toothbrushes.
