Description
Oil in water emulsion. Ready-to-use repellent used to protect humans from mosquitoes and ticks in temperate zones only. For outdoor and indoor use (only in well-ventilated areas).
How to use
Use indoors only in well-ventilated areas and outdoors. BENGAL FAMILY PROTECTION insect repellent spray is a ready-to-use repellent used to protect humans from mosquitoes and ticks only in temperate zones. The product is not intended for use in tropical areas. The repellent is sprayed on the skin, only on exposed parts of the body (face, hands, arms, legs and feet only).
Components
Ethyl butyl acetylamino propionate (CAS 52304-36-6; EC 257-835-0) - 20%, ethanol (CAS 64-17-5; EC 200-578-6) - 35%.
Warnings
If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Keep out of reach of children. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. – No smoking. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Dispose of container in accordance with local/regional/national/international regulations.
Keep out of reach of children. Read and follow all instructions carefully.
Apply the product only to uncovered parts of the body, limited to the face, arms, legs and feet. Do not apply to the entire body. Make sure to protect your eyes. Do not apply to the eye area. Do not apply to cuts, wounds, recently shaved skin or irritated skin. Do not use under clothing. For external use only. Applying sunscreen products or cosmetic formulations after using the repellent significantly alters the effectiveness of the repellent. If the product is used at the same time as a sunscreen or lotion, apply the sunscreen first and wait 20 minutes before applying the product. In case of heavy sweating and after swimming, the effectiveness of the product decreases. The product can be applied once a day for children under 12 years of age and twice a day for adults and children over 12 years of age. When using these products on children, care must be taken and the use of mechanical protection (clothing, mosquito nets) is preferable. Avoid contact with synthetic materials. Synthetic materials must be protected during application. Users must inform if the treatment is ineffective and report it immediately to the registration holder. The use of the product with other repellents is not recommended. The duration of protection is purely indicative. Environmental factors (e.g. high temperatures, wind speed) may alter it. Do not use on children's hands. An adult must apply the product to children under 12 years of age, and wash their hands after application. Wash hands before touching food. Do not apply directly on or near food, feed or drinks, or surfaces or utensils that may be in direct contact with food, feed or drinks. To avoid contamination of food, avoid contact of treated skin with them. Apply only outdoors or in well-ventilated areas. In case of inhalation: move to fresh air. In case of contact with eyes: check for contact lenses and remove them if easy to do so. Rinse with plenty of water. Consult an ophthalmologist. In case of skin contact: In case of skin lesions, redness or persistent pain after application, seek medical advice.
