Description
A complete food supplement that, in addition to vitamins and mineral salts, provides polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids, specifically designed for the needs of pregnant women. Its formulation also allows for extended use during the pre-conception period and postpartum.
It contains docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), vitamins, and minerals including iron and folic acid.
Often, we find single-dose products on the market that contain vitamins, minerals, and DHA in a single capsule. In reality, for better absorption of vitamins and especially DHA, it is preferable to separate them and take them at different times of the day.
The softgel ensures that DHA is present in its liquid form and minimizes the fishy aftertaste, especially if taken during a main meal (lunch or dinner).
Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) is an omega-3 fatty acid, particularly important for the development of the nervous system and retina, and is mainly found in fatty fish living in cold seas; intake levels are therefore modest for a large part of the Western population.
Vitamins and especially DHA can cause the unpleasant sensation of fish reflux.
This is a positive sign of the effective presence of the active ingredient in the correct doses.
To reduce this undesirable effect, the product has a patented capsule that gastroprotects the active ingredients in the stomach and releases them into the intestine.
Gastroresistance also allows for greater absorption of vitamins and minerals.
Between 18 and 49 years of age, a woman's iron requirement is 18 mg per day, but during pregnancy, it increases to a significant 30 mg.
The product contains 30 mg of iron, useful for meeting the basal needs of the expectant mother and the needs of the fetus.
Finally, folic acid supplementation also appears to reduce the risk of pregnancy complications such as preeclampsia and intrauterine growth restriction.

Directions for use
1 capsule daily away from meals, 1 softgel daily with a full stomach. To further reduce and eliminate DHA reflux, we recommend taking the capsule during main meals (either lunch or dinner).
