Description
Acupressure bracelet, used to stimulate the P6 Neiguan acupressure point and help relieve nausea and vomiting.
Without drugs, it does not induce drowsiness.
How to use
The bracelet works by applying pressure to the P6 Neiguan (acupressure) point on each wrist. To find the P6 Neiguan point, place the three middle fingers on the inside of the wrist with the edge of the third finger just below the first crease of the wrist. The P6 Neiguan point is located under the first finger between the two tendons (flexors) of the wrist.
Place the button facing inward over the P6 Neiguan point. Repeat the process for the other wrist.
On children, do this research with their own fingers.
To be effective, one band should be worn on each wrist. Effectiveness may vary based on individual patient characteristics. It may take up to five minutes to become effective, but the effect usually lasts as long as the bands are worn. For best results, put the bands on before you begin your journey.
Greater relief can be achieved by applying finger pressure directly to the button.
The acupressure cuff can be washed with a mild detergent in warm water up to five times. Replace when the bands no longer fit snugly on your wrist.
Warnings
Discontinue use if product causes discomfort.
Do not use if broken or damaged.
The acupressure cuff provides symptomatic relief, it does not cure or remove the cause of nausea. Nausea and vomiting may be associated with serious conditions. If symptoms persist, seek medical attention immediately.
The acupressure bracelet should only be used on the P6 Neiguan point. Use on any other point will not relieve nausea.
If skin irritation occurs under the band, or if pain or swelling occurs, remove the band immediately and, if these symptoms persist, consult a doctor.
Keep out of reach of children. Button is a choking hazard if removed.
Individuals with known or suspected circulation problems should consult a physician before use.
If a death or serious deterioration in health occurs as a result of using the acupressure cuff, report it to the manufacturer and the competent authority in your country.
