Description
A medical device for external topical cutaneous use, indicated as an aid in the powerful keratolytic removal of hyperkeratotic skin layers and psoriatic plaques. It contains 30% salicylic acid dispersed in a highly hydrophobic vehicle, capable of producing a prompt action.
The product is intended for use when it is appropriate to eliminate the superficial stratum corneum of hyperkeratotic areas by chemical action, thus proving useful as a preparatory treatment for cryotherapy, for the treatment of psoriatic plaques and localized cutaneous hyperkeratosis (calluses, corns, warts, calloused plaques, ichthyosis) that are difficult to resolve in clinical practice.
Instructions for use
Apply a thin layer of the product only to the area to be treated, once a day or as directed by a physician. Repeat the treatment for a maximum of 12-14 days; treatment can be extended under medical supervision. If necessary, the special reducer with cap can be screwed onto the tube provided in the package.
Components
Salicylic acid 30%, white soft paraffin, liquid paraffin, coconut oil, microcrystalline wax, tocopherol acetate.
Warnings
For external use. Do not swallow. Do not use in case of suspected and/or known hypersensitivity to any of the components. In case of doubt, discontinue use and consult a physician. Keep out of reach of children. Never use in children under three years of age. Do not use in children under 12 years of age unless directed by a physician. In case of pregnancy and breastfeeding, use only under medical supervision. Avoid excessive or prolonged use. Do not apply to large areas of the body (>15%) for periods longer than 5 days unless directed by a physician. The product may cause temporary burning and local irritation; if the phenomenon persists or becomes bothersome, consult your physician. The product is contraindicated in subjects with confirmed or suspected sensitization to salicylic acid or salicylates. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not use the device after the expiration date.

Shelf life after opening: 30 days.
