Description
Sterilpeg is a medical device in powder form for extemporaneous oral suspension, useful in the treatment of constipation.
Particularly indicated in chronic constipation and in cases of occasionally irregular bowel movements.
Sterilpeg can be used from 6 months of age.
Ingredients
A full dose contains: 10 g of Macrogol 3350, divided into 2 sachets of 5 g each (half dose).
Gluten free.
Lactose free.
How to use
Dissolve the contents of 1 whole sachet (10 g) in approximately 125 ml (one glass) of still water, mixing well.
Increase to 150 ml in pediatric age.
Drink the reconstituted solution.
The half dose (5 g) can be dissolved in approximately half a glass of still water (62.5 ml).
It is recommended to take STERILPEG away from meals.
From 6 months to 2 years (up to 12 kg) : the contents of half a sachet (5 g) 1 or 2 times a day.
From 2 to 11 years (from 12 kg to 20 kg) : the contents of one whole sachet (10 g) 1 or 2 times a day.
Above 11 years (or >20 kg) and adults : the contents of one whole sachet (10 g) 1 to 3 times a day.
Warnings
It is possible to divide the daily dose into several administrations.
The dose may be increased or decreased depending on the individual response to treatment. In any case, it is advisable to seek the advice of a doctor.
Use the product in children of pediatric age only after medical advice. Take Sterilpeg preferably away from meals.
Use is not recommended in children under 6 months of age. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age to avoid accidental ingestion of the product.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
