Description
SenSura Mio Flex, flat plate with adhesive attachment for Colostomy is a plate made of a hydrocolloid-based adhesive and a floating ring equipped with a guide for the correct positioning of the collection bag.
Plaque: the adhesive, designed thanks to BodyFit Technology, is elastic, of new conception and made up of two layers; it has an oval shape and its elastic structure guarantees adhesion, safety and protection of the skin. The innermost layer has a special network structure that incorporates small hydrocolloids: in contact with the excretions it transforms into a cohesive and compact gel, with high resistance to erosion. This creates a protective seal that reduces the onset of infiltrations together with the maintenance of the correct gradient of skin humidity, promoting tissue repair. The outermost layer has an elastic capacity of the adhesive that allows this layer to adapt perfectly to the irregularities of the skin offering high instant adhesion and consequent safety in use.
It is available in a version that can be cut to the desired size (following the guide printed on the protective mask of the adhesive surface).
It has a simple cutting guide: the cutting circles are soft, there are different cutting sizes with strong contrasts for users with poor vision, the circles do not intersect. The SenSura Mio range has a turquoise colored adhesive removal tab for greater visibility, and an easy thumb grip. The plate has a special floating ring with a guide for the correct positioning of the collection bag.
