2S SYSTEM OPEN-ENDED POUCHES
Description
2S SYSTEM open-ended pouches are designed to meet the needs of ileostomy patients, but are also used for colostomy, especially in cases of liquid stool. The pouch features a flange coupling system that allows for a hermetic seal, ensures the pouch does not accidentally detach from the baseplate, and provides a barrier against leaks. The open end can be reclosed with the provided clip.
The collection pouch consists of five layers of poly-laminated plastic. The intermediate layer, made of PVDC, is covered on both sides by two layers of vinyl ethylene acetate, which is impact-resistant, highly elastic, flexible, and odor-proof. The pouch features a coating panel on both sides of the opaque version and only on the body side of the transparent version. The pouches are equipped with a closing clip. For sizes up to 70 mm, you can choose between the opaque and transparent versions. The 100 mm diameter is only available in the transparent version.
The soft and delicate "silk-effect" coating panel does not adhere to the skin in case of perspiration. If it comes into contact with stomal effluent during device emptying, the washable fabric helps keep the pouch clean and odor-free. The open-ended system features a convenient reclosable opening with a practical clip, allowing for prolonged pouch use and consistently thorough hygiene. Although not essential, an abdominal support belt can be used by utilizing the dedicated loops on the pouch's flange.
