The presence of Durahesive; in the composition of the moldable plates makes the skin barrier particularly suitable in case of rather liquid evacuations.
While traditional skin barriers can deteriorate upon contact with waste products, the Durahesive barrier swells to create a “turtle neck” effect to protect the stoma and peristomal skin.
