Description
Infrared thermometer.
How to use
- Please check whether the measuring sensor is dirty, damaged or scratched before use.
- Please check that the surrounding temperature is between 15°C and 35°C and that there are no factors that may interfere with temperature measurement before use.
- Please do not take measurements immediately after bathing or showering, exercising, eating or being exposed to the sun, otherwise the measurement result may be incorrect.
- Please do not take measurements in uncertain and/or rapidly changing environmental conditions or in poor hygienic conditions, otherwise the measurement result may be incorrect.
- Please ensure that the device and patient are acclimated to the same environmental conditions for at least 30 minutes at the time of measurement.
1. Press the "ON/OFF" button once to turn on the device.
2. After 3 seconds, the thermometer is ready in measurement mode and the blue LED light and the °C (or °F) symbol on the screen will flash.
3. Then move the device closer until it rests on your forehead, to automatically start measuring your temperature.
4. After 1 second the measurement is completed and indicated by a specific sound and light warning.
5. Shut-off is automatic after 30 seconds of inactivity or manual by holding down the "ON/OFF" button until the device turns off.
You can take a new measurement immediately when the blue LED light and the °C (°F) symbol start flashing again.
- Please hold the thermometer correctly on your forehead. Otherwise, the measurement may not be reliable and you will need to remove the thermometer and repeat the measurement.
Cleaning and disinfection methods
Before and after use, to clean the probe area of the thermometer, use 75% alcohol applied to a cotton ball, then dry with a soft cloth. Clean the thermometer regularly once a month.
Warnings
- This device is intended only to measure body temperature, but does not determine an evaluation of the clinical and health status. Therefore, please always follow the doctor's instructions.
Self-diagnosis may be dangerous and harmful.
Dirty infrared sensors can cause incorrect measurements.
- Clean the sensor with ordinary alcohol after use.
- Please do not touch or press the infrared sensor.
Damaged or dirty infrared sensor may cause incorrect measurement results.
When the infrared sensor is dirty, use cotton swabs or a soft cloth soaked in alcohol to clean it very gently.
- Using toilet paper or tissues to clean the sensor may damage it and consequently cause an incorrect measurement.
- Do not take the measurement after a hot bath, prolonged exposure to the sun or after intense physical effort. In these cases, the temperature measured by the device may be higher than the actual temperature.
- In cold periods, do not measure your temperature immediately after returning home.
*Wait for the forehead to warm up. In this case or after sleeping with pillows/water bags, if you do not wait for a natural warming (thermal acclimatization) of the forehead, the temperature at the measurement may be lower than the actual one.
- Do not attempt to disassemble and/or repair the thermometer.
- Do not store the thermometer in a place subject to splashes, high temperature, humidity, direct sunlight, dust or corrosion. This product cannot be used in the above environments.
- Do not dispose of the product as normal waste. Follow national disposal regulations. Dispose of batteries in appropriate containers.

- Do not use the thermometer in water or during excessive physical exertion.
- Measure temperature only on intact skin. Avoid using the device on an area of the body that is inflamed or has trauma, wounds or post-operative lesions.

- Please do not use this product on any place other than the forehead.
- Please do not hit, break, step on or shake the device body. - Please do not use this product in environments with significant electromagnetic interference.
- Please do not dismantle, repair and deform the product.
- Please do not introduce liquids (alcohol, hot water, etc.) into the device.
