Description

Digital thermometer with flexible tip featuring fast and reliable measurements, simple to use: it detects body temperature in about 60 seconds.
The LCD display allows easy reading of the detected temperature.
The flexible tip makes it comfortable to use.
It emits acoustic signals to indicate that the device is ready for use and when the measurement period ends.
It comes with a practical case that preserves its integrity and hygiene.

How to use
Turn the device on by pressing the ON/OFF button. All notification symbols appear briefly and the device beeps, followed by the last measured temperature value.
If the temperature is below 32°C (90°F), the LCD display will show “Lo”, if the temperature is above 42.9°C (109.9°F), the LCD display will show “Hi”.
The thermometer is now ready for use.
You have the option to measure body temperature in both Celsius and Fahrenheit. Proceed as follows:
1. The appliance must be turned off.
2. Press and hold the ON/OFF button for approximately 4 seconds to change the unit of measurement.
3. The corresponding set unit of measurement (°C or -%) appears on the display at the top right.
Place the sensor tip under your tongue, in your armpit or in your anus:
- ORAL MEASUREMENT: place the thermometer with the tip of the sensor under the tongue and close the mouth. During the measurement, breathe through the nose and avoid altering the values detected.
- RECTAL MEASUREMENT: Rectal measurement, considered uncomfortable by many patients, gives precise results. For a fast and reliable body temperature measurement, carefully insert the tip of the sensor into the rectum for about 1 cm.
- MEASUREMENT UNDER THE AXILLARY CELL: Before taking the measurement, clean the armpit. Place the thermometer with the tip of the sensor in the armpit. Lower the arm and press it lightly against the body during the measurement.
The thermometer starts measuring automatically. During the measurement, the “°” symbol flashes continuously. When the measurement is complete, the device beeps for approximately 10 seconds and the measured value appears on the display.
By extending the measuring time beyond the acoustic signal, even more accurate measurement values will be obtained.
If you use the thermometer under the armpit, wait at least 10 minutes as this measurement method is the most imprecise.
If a temperature above 37.8°C (100°F) is measured, the device emits a fever alarm tone (short beeps).
The thermometer switches off automatically 10 minutes after the measurement. To extend the battery life, however, it is recommended to deactivate the thermometer after the reading by pressing the ON/OFF button.
Cleaning and maintenance :
The thermometer is waterproof and can therefore be easily cleaned and disinfected. Clean the thermometer before and after each measurement with a cloth soaked in a mild alcohol solution. You can also immerse the thermometer in a special disinfectant solution.
Warnings
The thermometer must not be boiled.
The thermometer must be cleaned before and after each use with disinfectant.
Keep away from heat sources.
Keep out of reach of children.
The thermometer is only suitable for measuring body temperature.
Protect the thermometer from drops and impacts.
The thermometer goes into error after about 15 seconds if it does not detect any temperature, or if the temperature is outside the measuring scale.
