Reactive strip for self-monitoring of blood glucose to be used with the Accu-Chek instrument. Robust and easy to handle, it is equipped with a large Y-shaped suction area, called Y-Easy Fill, which allows for simple and safe application of the blood sample with a minimal quantity, only 0.6 microliters, both with the classic method and with the AST method (blood sampling from altered sites on the fingertip). Inside the strip there are 8 gold electrodes that perform over 150 automatic quality controls, to offer the accuracy of the result. They are able to verify the integrity of the strip and reagents based on humidity and external temperature, any damage to the strip and the amount of blood deposited, with error reporting in the event of insufficient blood and the possibility of redosing within 5 seconds. Each pack of strips contains a Smart Code for coding, in which all the information relating to the characteristics of the strips being used is inserted. The strip bottle makes it easy to open and close with a snap-on cap attached to the bottle. The desiccant is also evenly distributed on the walls, providing better preservation of the strips. Format
