DescriptionGel for ophthalmic use indicated for dogs, cats, non-DPA horses and pet rabbits. The presence of carbomer 0.2% with mucoadhesive properties and the particular composition forms a stable gel in contact with the ocular surface, with an intense and long-lasting hydrating lubricating action, providing immediate relief in cases of severe dry eyes and associated environmental stress.
How to use
- Remove the cap, and grasp the body of the tube between the thumb and forefinger of your dominant hand.
- Hold the animal's head still by containing the muzzle with your dominant hand.
- Place your dominant hand to the side of the animal's head so that you can gently pull the upper eyelid with the outer edge of your little finger to facilitate exposure of the eye.
- Place the bottle over the eye and instill a quantity of gel necessary to cover the oculo-conjunctival surface by applying light pressure on the body of the tube. Massage the eyelid lightly to facilitate uniform distribution of the gel.
- Apply 2-3 times a day.
- Reward the animal after application.
Components
Carbomer 0.2% (w/v), cetrimide, sorbitol, sodium hydroxide, disodium edetate, water for injections.
Warnings
- Ophthalmic product for external veterinary use.
- Avoid touching the eye with the tip of the tube.
- Do not use the product after the expiry date shown on the package.
- Allow 15 minutes to pass between instilling Epigel Tubo and any instillation of drugs or products for external ophthalmic use.
- Do not use in case of subjective hypersensitivity or known incompatibility to any component of the preparation.
- Keep out of sight and reach of children.
- Do not dispose of the container in the environment after use.
- External use. For veterinary use only.
