Tonimer Isotonic 300 Normal Spray 100 ml Tonimer

Description
Sterile isotonic seawater solution with a slightly alkaline pH, indicated for the removal and fluidification of mucus in the nasal passages in cases of dry mucous membranes and common colds, in order to promote more comfortable breathing. It contains no preservatives, and the propellant (air) is not dispensed as it is not in contact with the product, thus reducing the possibility of allergic reactions.
The product is indicated:
- in the TONIMER ISOTONIC SPRAY NORMAL and TONIMER ISOTONIC SPRAY STRONG presentations for adults;
- in the TONIMER ISOTONIC SPRAY SOFT presentation for adults with hypersensitive mucous membranes;
- in the TONIMER ISOTONIC BABY SPRAY presentation for infants and children.
The presence of a non-return valve and a bag that isolates the solution:
- guarantees its sterility;
- allows the bottle to be rotated in any direction (360°);
- prevents mucus from being aspirated into the bottle.

How to use
Wash hands before use.
1. After removing the cap, children capable of using the product independently (with adult supervision) can use the product by holding the can at any angle. It is, however, advisable to stand over the sink, tilt the head to one side, and insert the dispenser into the upper nostril. Press the dispenser for the duration required for the product to be dispensed. Repeat the identical procedure with the other nostril.
2. For infants and children requiring adult assistance: lay them on their side, insert the dispenser into the upper nostril, and press for the required duration. Then lay them on the other side and repeat the identical procedure with the other nostril.
3. After each use, always wash and dry the dispenser and close the package with the appropriate cap.
DISPENSING TIMES AND FREQUENCY OF USE
- TONIMER ISOTONIC SPRAY NORMAL (adults): press the dispenser for 1-2 seconds/nostril. 2-3 applications per day are recommended, 3-4 hours apart, for 15 days or as per medical advice.
- TONIMER ISOTONIC SPRAY SOFT (adults): press the dispenser for 5 seconds/nostril. 2-3 applications per day are recommended, 3-4 hours apart, for 15 days or as per medical advice.
- TONIMER ISOTONIC SPRAY STRONG (adults): press the dispenser for 1 second/nostril. 2-3 applications per day are recommended, 3-4 hours apart, for 15 days or as per medical advice.
- TONIMER ISOTONIC BABY SPRAY (infants and children): press the dispenser for 5 seconds/nostril. 2-3 applications per day are recommended, 3-4 hours apart, for 15 days or as per medical advice.

Warnings
Nasal use. For personal use. Do not use the product if the bottle appears damaged. Do not use the product after the expiry date. The expiry date refers to the product intact and correctly stored. Do not exceed the recommended dose. In case of hypersensitivity to the components, do not use the product. In rare cases, temporary burning of the mucous membranes or slight nasal bleeding may occur during use without compromising the safety and efficacy of the product. TONIMER ISOTONIC SPRAY STRONG (strong jet) should not be used by infants and children, unless otherwise advised by a doctor, and its use is not recommended for adults with particularly sensitive nasal mucous membranes prone to epistaxis. In case of undesirable effects, stop use, consult a doctor, and inform the manufacturer. In case of persistence of symptoms at the end of treatment, consult a doctor. There are no contraindications related to the use of the product during pregnancy and breastfeeding. For infants, use the product only with pediatric advice. The administration of drugs and medical devices for inhalatory use simultaneously with the product must be carried out under the supervision of a doctor who can evaluate possible interactions. In case of serious incidents related to the administration of one of the products in the TONIMER ISOTONIC SPRAY line, send a report to the manufacturer, the Italian Ministry of Health or the competent Authority of the EU Member State or the Country where the product was used. Avoid contact with eyes; if it occurs, wash them with water. Keep the product out of the reach and sight of children. After use, dispose of the device responsibly. Caution: pressurized container: may burst if heated. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames, or other ignition sources. No smoking. Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C/122°F. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use for purposes other than intended.

Storage
Store closed, away from heat, in a cool and dry place.
Shelf life unopened: 36 months.
