Description
Sterile isotonic seawater solution with a slightly alkaline pH, indicated for the removal and fluidification of nasal mucus in cases of dry mucous membranes and colds, to promote more comfortable breathing. It does not contain preservatives and the propellant (air) is not dispensed as it is not in contact with the product, thus reducing the possibility of allergic reactions.
Instructions for use
Press the dispenser for 1 second per nostril. 2-3 applications per day are recommended, 3-4 hours apart, for 15 days or according to medical advice.
Wash hands before use.
1. After removing the cap, children capable of using the product independently (with adult supervision) can use the product by orienting the can at any angle. However, it is advisable to stand over a sink, tilt the head to one side, and insert the dispenser into the upper nostril. Press the dispenser for the time required for the product to be released. Repeat the same procedure with the other nostril.
2. For infants and children who require adult assistance: lie on your side, insert the dispenser into the upper nostril and press for the required time. Then lie on the other side and repeat the same procedure with the other nostril.
3. After each use, always wash and dry the dispenser and close the package with the appropriate cap.
Warnings
Nasal use. For personal use. Do not use the product if the bottle appears damaged. Do not use the product after the expiry date. The expiry date refers to the product intact and correctly stored. Do not exceed the recommended dose. In case of hypersensitivity to the components, do not use the product. In rare cases, temporary burning of the mucous membranes or slight nasal bleeding may occur during use without compromising the safety and effectiveness of the product.
The product should not be used by infants and children, unless otherwise advised by a doctor, and its use is not recommended for adults with particularly sensitive nasal mucous membranes prone to epistaxis. In case of undesired effects, discontinue use, consult a doctor and inform the manufacturer. If symptoms persist at the end of treatment, consult a doctor. There are no contraindications related to the use of the product during pregnancy and breastfeeding. For infants, use the product only with paediatric advice. The administration of drugs and medical devices for inhalational use simultaneously with the product must be carried out under the supervision of a doctor who can evaluate possible interactions. In case of serious incidents related to the administration of products from the TONIMER ISOTONIC SPRAY line, send a report to the manufacturer. Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, wash with water. Keep the product out of the reach and sight of children. After use, dispose of the device responsibly. Pressurized container: may burst if heated. Keep away from heat sources, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames or other ignition sources. Do not smoke. Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50 °C/122 °F. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use for purposes other than intended.
Storage
Store closed, away from heat, in a cool, dry place.
