EvoTears OMEGA
Description
Medical device consisting of a liquid eye drop without water, without antimicrobial preservatives and phosphates.
Contains perfluorohexyloctane (EyeSol) with 0.2% omega-3 fatty acids.
Stabilizes the lipid state of the tear film and reduces evaporation of the aqueous phase underlying the tear film. Lubricates and protects the ocular surface and therefore alleviates symptoms associated with dry eye such as burning sensation, itching, pain and foreign body sensation.
How to use
Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor or pharmacist, apply 1 drop to the lower eyelid 4 times a day. It can be used daily as it is free of antimicrobial preservatives.
Due to its specific properties, EvoTears omega works differently than traditional eye drops. It is therefore advisable to read these instructions carefully before use.
1. Unscrew the eye drop cap.
2. Remove the sealing ring from the cap before the first application of EvoTears omega.
3. Avoid touching the dropper tip with your skin, eyes and eyelashes after removing the cap.
4. Before applying eye drops, in order to avoid loss of solution, carefully read and follow points 5 and 6.
5. Hold the open bottle with the dropper tip pointing upwards and gently squeeze the bottle with your thumb and forefinger.
6. Before bringing the bottle to your eye, turn it upside down with the dropper tip facing down, holding it down. Then immediately release to release the pressure. This will allow some air to pass through the liquid and into the bottle. Leave the bottle with the dropper tip facing down.
7. Tilt your head back slightly and gently pull your lower eyelid down.
8. Hold the open vial upside down vertically above the eye. Squeeze the vial gently and apply one drop to each eye.
9. After application, close your eyes to evenly distribute EvoTears omega.
10. After use, close the bottle with the cap.
Warnings
It should not be used in case of hypersensitivity (allergy) to the components perfluorohexyloctane and omega-3 fatty acids.
Use of the product requires special caution if used simultaneously with other eye medications. If using any other treatment, it is advisable to wait at least 15 minutes between the two applications.
If you wear contact lenses, do not use EvoTears omega, as there is insufficient data available on the compatibility of the product with contact lens materials.
Keep out of sight and reach of children.
Conservation
Do not store above 25°C.
Validity of intact packaging: 24 months.
Validity after opening: 2 months.
