Description
Ferrocento Act is a food supplement based on Iron, Folic Acid and Vitamin C, useful in case of increased need or reduced dietary intake of these nutrients, especially for women of childbearing age, pregnant and breastfeeding. Ferrocento Act contains SunActive Fe, a particular microencapsulated Iron salt with high bioavailability, tasteless, pleasant to take and without unpleasant aftertaste, and Quatrefolic, Folic Acid in biologically active form. The supplemental intake of Folic Acid increases the maternal folate status. A low maternal folate status is a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the fetus. Vitamin C increases the absorption of Iron.

Sunactive Ferro - Ferric diphosphate (ferric pyrophosphate) (on maltodextrin and sodium chloride); Shell: Food gelatin, Resistance agent: glycerol, Colorant: Iron oxide; Sunflower oil; L-ascorbic acid; Emulsifier: Sunflower lecithin; Thickener: Mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids; Quatrefolic - (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid, glucosamine salt (vegetable).

How to use
We recommend taking 1 softgel per day.
The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily supplementary intake of folic acid of 400 mcg for at least one month before and up to three months after conception.
