Description
Circular knit medical compression stocking for compression of the lower limbs, mainly used in the prevention and treatment of vascular diseases and, in general, swelling conditions.
Firm hold thanks to silicone topband. Breathable and particularly soft. Latex-free.
Components
76% polyamide, 24% elastane, latex free.
How to use
Post-operative stockings have a broad spectrum of use in the outpatient and semi-outpatient treatment of thrombosis, in venous surgery and as a replacement for classic compression bandages of the lower limbs. With a pressure of 23 mmHg at the ankle, which gradually reduces towards the thigh, mediven struva 23 is especially indicated for short-term direct post-operative compression after venous surgery. In this way, venous return is promoted and the formation of edema and haematomas is prevented. In venous surgery, mediven struva 23 is used in addition to mediven struva 35.
