Description
Medical circular-knit compression stocking for the compression of the lower limbs, used primarily in the prevention and treatment of vascular diseases and, in general, swollen conditions.
Firm hold thanks to silicone topband. Breathable and particularly soft. Latex-free.
Components
76% polyamide, 24% elastane, latex-free.
Directions for use
Post-operative stockings have a wide range of uses in outpatient and semi-outpatient thrombosis treatment, venous surgery, and as a substitute for traditional compression bandages for the lower limbs. With a pressure of 23 mmHg at the ankle, which gradually decreases towards the thigh, mediven struva 23 is particularly indicated for short-term direct post-operative compression after venous surgery. This promotes venous return and prevents the formation of edema and hematomas. In venous surgery, mediven struva 23 is used as a complement to mediven struva 35.
