Description
High calorie, low sugar, high fiber cocoa ketogenic bar with medium chain fatty acids. Contains sweeteners.
Indicated for the dietary management of cases of:
- ketogenic diet;
- additional need for MCT fats.
Ingredients
Cocoa butter 30%, medium chain triglycerides 21.2% (from palm and coconut fat), vegetable fiber (chicory inulin, soluble corn fiber), sweeteners: erythritol, sucralose; cocoa powder 6%, milk proteins, "Nocciola Piemonte IGP" paste, natural vanilla flavor.

Nutritional characteristics
How to use
The quantity of the product must be determined by the doctor or dietician, in relation to the age, weight and clinical conditions of the patient. The quantities of MCT fats taken must be increased gradually to avoid osmotic diarrhea, bloating, abdominal pain, vomiting or headache.
Warnings
The product must be used under medical supervision. Not suitable as a sole nutritional source. Do not use parenterally. Suitable for children over 3 years and adults. Not suitable for people not affected by the pathologies mentioned.
Not suitable in case of ketoacidosis / acidosis, decompensated liver cirrhosis, chronic kidney disease, metabolic diseases (eg MCAD, VLCAD, LCHAD, CPT1, CPT2, CACT deficiency). Excessive consumption may have laxative effects.
May contain soy, lactose (milk) and nuts (almonds).
Conservation
Store in a dry place away from heat and light, below 18°C. If the product is exposed to low temperatures, white spots may appear on the surface; if the product is brought back to room temperature, the product resumes its standard appearance.
Validity with intact packaging: 12 months.
