HYDROALGINATE WITH SILVERfor the treatment of any type of infected or heavily colonized wound with medium to very high exudation, such as leg ulcers, bedsores, post-surgical wounds, etc.
Characteristics:
It combines the powerful, broad-spectrum antimicrobial action of silver with the moisture-management properties of new hydroalginate technology. Furthermore, the dressing increases tensile strength in a moist environment, thus promoting complete removal of the product.

Warnings:
The sustained release of silver ions counteracts bacterial growth, reducing and eliminating infection, while the hydroalginate fibers create a gel that increases absorption and manages high levels of exudate. Gelation minimizes trauma to newly formed tissue during dressing removal and ensures the ideal moist microenvironment for wound healing, minimizing the risk of maceration and increasing the dressing's retention time. It easily adapts to the shape and size of the wound and can also be used on cavity wounds.
