DescriptionAlpha-lipoic acid, also known as thioctic acid, is a powerful endogenous antioxidant and is able to counteract the damage caused by free radicals which form in greater quantities in altered health conditions (oxidation-reduction stress) and which represent the main cause of cellular aging and reduced tissue functionality.
Alpha-lipoic acid is soluble in water and fats, therefore it acts as an antioxidant in both the aqueous and lipid phases, a characteristic that allows it to carry out this activity in different cellular environments: membrane, cytoplasm, nucleus, mitochondria.
Alpha-lipoic acid also promotes the regeneration of other endogenous antioxidants such as glutathione, vitamin C and vitamin E.
It can be used in the treatment of:
- Lumbosciatica.
- Carpal tunnel syndrome.
- Radiculopathies.
- Peripheral neuropathies.
- Diabetic neuropathies.
- Alcoholic neuropathies.

How to use
It is recommended to take 1 tablet once a day for a period of not less than 45-60 days, unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor.
The tablets should be taken on an empty stomach.
