Description
Bath oil.
One of the most important functions of the skin is to protect the body from dehydration and environmental factors. This barrier function is performed by the outermost layer of the skin and the hydrolipidic system. A functional skin barrier is crucial for the hydration of the skin. The natural lipids of the skin play a very important role in the barrier function of the skin. This protective function can be impaired by external factors such as cold, heat or frequent use of cleansing products. The skin becomes dry, loses softness and elasticity and tends to become irritated.
Regular use of suitable skin care products restores the natural skin barrier, thus helping to delay the onset of dry and itchy skin conditions, replenishing lipids, protecting the skin and helping to relieve itchy irritation due to scratching.
Balneum Plus Bath Oil has been specifically developed to soothe dry, itchy skin and regenerate the skin's natural barrier to delay the onset of dryness.
Balneum Plus Bath Oil contains a high concentration of natural soybean oil that gently disperses in the bath water, giving it an inviting milky consistency. During bathing, small drops of oil are deposited on the skin and immediately begin their replenishing action. The skin's barrier function that protects against the loss of natural moisture is thus regenerated. At the same time, laureth-6 soothes dry and itchy skin.
Soybean oil contains a high amount of unsaturated fatty acids and simulates skin lipids. With regular use, the skin remains elastic, soft and smooth.
How to use
Shake the bottle before use. Pour the oil directly into warm/cold water (not to exceed 36 °C). Use the cap to measure the recommended amount.
For a full bath (about 150 ml) use 2-3 caps (30-45 ml).
For bathing a child or newborn (about 25 litres) use 1/3 cap (5 ml).
For 1 partial bath (5 litres) use 1 ml.
Balneum Plus Bath Oil can also be used in the shower. In this case, apply a small amount of the product to wet skin and then rinse. After bathing or showering, gently pat the skin dry with a towel without rubbing, so as not to reduce the emollient action of Balneum Plus Bath Oil.
The water temperature should not exceed 36°C as the protective effect is reduced at higher temperatures.

Warnings
For external use only. Avoid direct contact with eyes and do not apply around eyes. In case of accidental contact, rinse immediately with cold water. If irritation persists, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Do not apply to broken or inflamed skin. Keep out of reach of children. Always clean the bathtub or shower tray with dishwashing liquid after using the oil. Rinse with hot water.
