Protein-free cookies with vanilla flavor. With sweetener.
Indicated for the dietary management of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). Indicated for the dietary management of Phenylketonuria. Indicated for the dietary management of Parkinson's disease (under Levodopa therapy).
The product, due to its composition, is suitable for all three categories of patients. In particular: the product has been specifically formulated with ingredients low in protein, sodium, phosphorus, and potassium to meet the nutritional needs of patients with Chronic Kidney Disease; the composition of the product also features a reduced phenylalanine content for the dietary management of individuals with Phenylketonuria.
Furthermore, the product, due to its limited protein content, is also suitable for the dietary management of patients with Parkinson's Disease undergoing Levodopa treatment, as it does not interfere with the absorption of this amino acid.
For patients undergoing Levodopa therapy, the degree of any dysphagia and potential malnutrition issues due to protein restriction should be assessed.

Corn starch; sweetener: maltitol; vegetable fat (shea, coconut), sunflower seed oil, corn flour, vegetable fiber (chicory inulin); thickener: xanthan gum; vanilla flavor 0.6%, sugar cane fiber; emulsifier: sunflower lecithins; raising agent: ammonium carbonates.
