CE medical device, class I, non-sterile. Standard and convex plates. The plate is equipped with a single-layer hydrocolloid skin protector with uniform thickness, to ensure an effective seal. The special design of the skin protector prevents any contact between the flange and the peristomal skin. The structure of the plate is elongated downwards to improve skin protection under the stoma. The polyethylene flange is highly flexible and is equipped, in the lower part, with a safety guide that allows easy positioning of the bag, ensuring correct attachment between the bag and the plate. It also has, in the upper part, a pressure attachment device to further guarantee a secure union between the plate and the bag. The convex plate has a particular conformation of the convexity that allows correct exteriorization of the stoma without exerting excessive and localized pressure on the peristomal skin planes. In fact, the pressure relief is gradually distributed over a large area of ​​skin. The convexity measures 6 mm in depth.
The plate is made of a single layer of uniform thickness of hydrocolloid skin protector, joined to a low density polyethylene (LDPE) bag connection ring. It is also equipped with a polyethylene film that allows the connection ring with the bag to be distanced from the base of the plate. This allows the thumbs to be inserted under the ring to facilitate the union between the bag and the plate, avoiding pressure on the abdomen. The flange is equipped with good flexibility and has a safety guide on the lower part that allows for safe and precise positioning of the bag. The skin protector is equipped with a protection card that has the product identification data printed on it and the different cutting lines of the skin protector based on the diameter of the stoma.
