Description
Colostomy collection pouch, ergonomically shaped to effectively adapt to the abdominal contour.
It consists of a multi-layered film completely impermeable to liquids and gases, and, in contact with the skin, creates no rustling thanks to the polyethylene non-woven fabric lining that allows for proper skin breathability.
The pouch is available with an inspectable window, combining the benefits of an opaque pouch for greater discretion, and the inspectable window which facilitates the correct positioning of the skin barrier around the stoma.
The pouch is also equipped with a new generation activated carbon impregnated filter, which allows for effective gas release, deodorizing them and minimizing the risk of ballooning.
Components
Collection pouch: multi-layer ethyl vinyl acetate and polyethylene copolymer, impermeable to liquids and gases. Outer covering made of microfiber with two layers of beige non-woven polyethylene fabric (TNT) with an inspectable window.
Skin protector: flower-shaped hydrocolloid adhesive consisting of a mixture of polyisobutylene, carboxymethylcellulose, pectin. The hydrocolloid is also layered on a polyethylene (PE) film that extends beyond the edges of the hydrocolloid itself.
Filter: high performance, impregnated with activated carbon and contained within a PTFE casing, permeable to gases but impermeable to liquids.
