Hulled red lentils (lens culinaris) are very common in the Middle East, so much so that they are also called Egyptian lentils. They are small, brightly colored, tender and flavorful, and, being hulled, require very little cooking time.
Ingredients
Organic hulled red lentils (lens culinaris).
Instructions for use
They are suitable for numerous dishes and creams, soups, and also as a thickener.
Serving size: 30 g.
Soaking is not necessary.
Water quantity: 2 parts water to 1 part lentils.
Cooking time: 15 minutes in a regular pot.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and heat sources.
Best before date from the production date, in an unopened package: 14 months.
