Description
Food for special medical purposes, indicated for the dietary management of infants with cow's milk protein or soy allergy. BBmilk RISO PRO 0-12 is suitable for feeding infants from birth up to 12 months of age.
The formulation of BBmilk RISO PRO 0-12 has a reduced allergenic potential, as its entire protein content is exclusively made up of enzymatically hydrolyzed rice proteins (EU and non-EU origin), which promote better digestibility and tolerability.
BBmilk RISO PRO 0-12 is suitable for use as the sole source of nutrition for infants from birth up to 6 months of age, if they are not breastfed. From 6 months of age, or in any case from weaning, BBmilk Riso Pro 0-12 is suitable for inclusion in a diversified complementary diet. The start of weaning must take place only under the supervision of a pediatrician.

Directions for use
Bottle preparation:
- before preparation, wash and dry hands thoroughly and sterilize bottle, teat, and ring.
- boil the required amount of water and pour it into the bottle at a temperature of 70°C;
- fill the scoop level and not pressed;
- add the prescribed number of level scoops of powder to the bottle;
- close the bottle and shake it to dissolve the powder;
- before giving it to the infant, check the temperature on the back of your hand; the temperature of the product must not exceed 37°C;
- after use, wash and dry the scoop thoroughly.

One level scoop of BBmilk RISO PRO 0-12 corresponds to 4.8 g, equal to 24.1 kcal.
The reconstitution of BBmilk RISO PRO 0-12 is 13.5% and is obtained by adding one level scoop of powder for every 30 ml of water.

Warnings
- Breast milk is the best food for infants and should be encouraged and used for as long as possible. If breastfeeding is not possible or insufficient, the infant should be fed with a food suitable for their needs, with the pediatrician's advice.
- BBmilk Riso Pro 0-12 should not be administered parenterally.
- BBmilk Riso Pro 0-12 should only be used under medical supervision.
- Inadequate preparation and storage can cause discomfort or health risks for the infant. Follow the instructions carefully.
- It is recommended to prepare the product only at mealtime and consume it within two hours.
- Do not reheat or boil the product once prepared.
- Do not reuse any leftover product after the meal.
- Use only the scoop contained in the package.
- The product is packaged in a protective atmosphere.
- Once opened, the package must be properly reclosed and stored in a dry place away from heat sources (not in the refrigerator); the product must be consumed within 3 weeks of opening.
