Description
Thermogel Breast Pads offer valid support during the delicate period of breastfeeding. Safe and easy to use, they provide immediate relief in case of breast engorgement, breast tension, or before feeding to support the flow of milk, promoting peaceful breastfeeding.
Used cold, they reduce inflammation and relieve pain. As a hot treatment, they allow milk to flow more freely, helping to resolve problems of engorgement or milk stagnation and making breastfeeding easier. Discreet, soft and effective, the pillows are easily positioned in the nursing bra.
Using while breastfeeding may cause problems that may cause some discomfort to the mother.
How to use
There are 2 ways to prepare Thermogel Pads for use.
1. For an effective cooling effect to relieve breast pain, in the presence of breast swelling, place the Pads in the refrigerator (one or both pads depending on your needs) and leave them in the refrigerator at +4°C.
- They can be left in the fridge for a long time so that they are always ready to use.
- Remove the Pads from the fridge and dry them with a cloth or kitchen roll.
- Insert them into the appropriate cotton covers and place them inside the bra cups for 10/20 minutes or as needed.
It is advisable to place the widest part of the pad on the most painful part of the breast.
2. As a gentle warm treatment to facilitate milk flow.
- Take the pads from the package, heat them in the microwave by placing them in a bowl of water at max 300 watts for 5 minutes.
- Remove the Pads from the water and dry with a cloth or kitchen roll.
- Use the pads when they are slightly warmer than your body.
- Insert the pads into the appropriate cotton covers.
It is recommended to place the widest part of the pad on the most painful part of the breast and wear for 10-15 minutes for a gentle heating effect.
Used with a cover moistened with warm water, it provides greater relief and promotes milk production.
HEAT:
ò In the microwave: at max 300 watts for 5 minutes in a bowl with water.
COLD:
ò In the fridge: +4 °C (there is no maximum time indication).
Warnings
- It is important to follow the instructions for hygiene and safety of breastfeeding.
- Keep the case and instructions for use for future reference.
- Do not use the pads without the appropriate cover.
- After each use the Pads must be washed with warm water and a common soap, dried thoroughly with a cloth or kitchen roll and stored in a clean, dry place.
- Wash the cover after each use. Follow the instructions on the cover label for washing.
- Do not exceed the microwave power indicated. Do not boil or overheat as excessive temperature may cause skin burns or damage the product.
- Do not cool the product in the freezer as too low a temperature may cause skin problems or damage the product.
- Do not place on hot or sharp surfaces.
- Do not damage the packaging and avoid the gel leaking. In case of breakage, dispose of in unsorted waste.
- If contents come into contact with eyes or skin, rinse thoroughly with water.
- Do not use on skin with open wounds.
- If this product is used for a purpose other than that intended, or is not used in accordance with the instructions for use, the user alone will be held responsible for any consequences. Any damage to the product or other consequences are therefore not covered by the right of complaint.
- The pads should not be used by people who are not sensitive to heat and/or cold, nor should they be used on children.
- Do not ingest the contents. In case of accidental ingestion of the gel, consult a doctor immediately.
- Do not use the product after the expiry date printed on the carton.
- To avoid any possibility of infection it is advisable not to use the Pads in common with other mothers.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Bearings should not be considered a toy.
- Report any serious incident to the manufacturer and the competent authority of the reference state.
