Description
Luja and Luja Pocket Men are flexible body bladder catheters for intermittent catheterization in men. They are self-lubricating, sterile, disposable, and measure 44 cm. Luja and Luja Pocket Men are compact products because they are easily transportable and discreet in disposal.
Luja and Luja Pocket Men are the first and only catheters made with Micro-Hole Zone Technology, micro-holes located 6 cm near the tip of the catheter and which replace the two traditional holes typical of standard catheters. Luja's micro-holes ensure both complete emptying of the bladder in a single flow without interruptions and a reduction in the risk of contracting urinary tract infections caused by bladder microtrauma.
All Luja catheters are ready to use and made with Triple Action Coating Technology which ensures uniform distribution of the lubricant and no dry spots and a reduction in the risk of contracting urinary tract infections caused by urethral microtrauma.
Luja and Luja Pocket Men's catheters guarantee no-touch insertion: they are entirely covered by a dry protective guide, which provides protection from possible external contamination during insertion (caused for example by contact with the user's hands or other external bodies). The catheters are already immersed in sterile saline solution to activate the lubricating coating. The lubricating liquid is inserted between the catheter and the protective guide and for this reason it is possible to manipulate the catheter without coming into contact with the liquid.
Luja and Luja Pocket Men have a flexible Nelaton tip that facilitates passage through the sphincter and urethra and a universal connector to be connected to a urine collection bag. In the primary package, Luja and Luja Pocket Men are presented as a closed circuit, as the ends of the catheter are screwed together. This makes the catheters impermeable to bacteria.
Both primary packages are designed to ensure maximum discretion in terms of transportability and disposal. In particular, the primary package of Luja Pocket Uomo is pocket-sized, and therefore smaller in size, to ensure even more discretion and convenience.
The primary packaging of the two catheters ensures the sterility of the product and, when closed, constitutes a sterile barrier for the device. After use, the catheter can be reinserted inside for discreet and hygienic disposal.

The primary catheter packaging is made of a multilayer of Matt lack/Printed PETP/PETP/PE PEEL.
