Medical Device CE Class: I.Sterile, disposable, one-piece bag for colostomy, ileostomy and urostomy, equipped with a porthole for stoma inspection and a drain valve, indicated in the immediate post-operative period.
Characteristics
This is a medical device pursuant to Directive 93/42/EEC - The bag is transparent with a non-woven fabric back.
- The transparent window can be removed for inspection of the stoma and then reattached.
- The Alterna adhesive consists of two components that alternate in a spiral: a delicate adhesive that absorbs the skin's moisture and a balanced, high-strength adhesive that guarantees perfect adhesion for long periods of time.
- The knurling and the groove approximately two cm from the edge make the adhesive even more flexible.
- The sticker can be cut to the desired size by following the guide printed on the silicone paper that protects the adhesive surface.
- The bag is equipped with a drain valve.
Composition
- The bag is made of a triple layer of ethylvinyl acetate-polyvinyl dichloride-ethylvinyl acetate.
- The porthole is made of ethyl vinyl acetate.
- The adhesive is based on polymers (polybutylene) and hydrocolloids (carboxymethylcellulose and pectin).
- The drain valve is made of polyethylene terephthalate.

Yes – Ethylene oxide.
Validity
3 years from date of manufacture.
Conservation
We recommend storing in the original intact packaging away from light and humidity, at a constant temperature between 15° and 30°.
Disposal
The product does not contain Ecotoxic components therefore does not require special disposal protocols. Do not disperse in the environment as it is not Biodegradable.
