SenSura® Mio Convex is a closed pouch with an adaptable convex adhesive baseplate that provides stability in the peristomal area while remaining flexible. The elastic adhesive adapts to the individual shape of the body and the pouch while remaining discreet.
It features a curved shape that effectively adapts to uneven skin areas, deep-seated areas, and stomas that need support or help protruding. Combined with an elastic adhesive, it provides a more effective adhesion to individual body shapes. It remains discreet thanks to the design of the filter and the bag.
The adaptable convex plate remains permanently attached to the pouch. To change the pouch, the entire device is removed and replaced. The Light convex plate is ideal for stomas with openings at skin level that require a little help to protrude or for slightly deep-seated areas where a slight curve is needed to achieve a good grip.
Furthermore, it is made up of various pre-cut or cut-to-size formats for maximum customization, complete with bags in different sizes available in the transparent version or with inspection window.
Main advantages:

It is soft and comfortable in contact with the skin, tends not to stick to clothing and remains dry after a shower. In addition, the textile material makes the stoma bag more similar to a piece of clothing than to a medical device;
- the color of SenSura Mio Convex was chosen from hundreds of colors to find exactly the right shade for maximum discretion under clothing of any color, – including white;
- does not attempt to imitate the body. It is a natural product, a personal accessory that optimizes discretion so you can always feel safe.
The function of the pre-filter is to protect the activated carbon membrane, as these are two parts that are very sensitive to contact with feces. In this way, the circular filter clogs less frequently, allowing air to flow through the filter longer and reducing the swelling of the bag.
In fact, the circular filter has been shown to reduce bag bulging by up to 61%. The circular filter will improve discretion and help you sleep better at night.
