Description
CovaTec Diamonds sachets are designed to gel the contents of an ileostomy or colostomy bag, or a fecal management system collection bag, and to help reduce or eliminate unpleasant odors and excess gas thanks to ActiveOne Odour Control Technology. Also designed to: reduce or eliminate bulging at the bottom of the bag; avoid noise caused by effluent at the bottom of the bag; reduce the need to empty the bag; increase comfort.
For use with semi-formed to liquid stools.
Intended users: healthcare professionals, caregivers and ostomates.
How to use
Place a complete sachet into the bag. Do not open the sachet. The sachet will dissolve when in contact with liquids, causing the effluent to condense. Emissions may appear darker than usual and/or contain dark spots. This is a visible sign that the ActiveOne odor control system is working. If you are monitoring the color of your emissions, temporarily stop using the system.
Empty and dispose of the contents of the bag as usual.
You can insert another sachet from the bottom of the bag after emptying.

Sachets made of water-soluble cellulose containing 2.25 g of activated carbon covered with an extra-absorbent polymer.
Warnings
This device is intended for single use only and should not be reused. Reuse may increase the risk of infection or cross-contamination. Reuse may cause the physical properties of the device to no longer be optimal for its intended use.
Keep out of reach of children. Do not ingest. Use only as directed. For external use only. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with clean water and consult a doctor.
After use, the product may represent a potential biohazard. Handle and dispose of the product in accordance with accepted medical practices and applicable local laws and regulations.
If a serious incident occurs during the use of this device or as a result of its use, report the problem to the manufacturer and the competent national authority.
Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place at a temperature not exceeding 50°C.
