Pen needles designed to ensure effective and reliable subcutaneous insulin administration. The needles are compatible with all insulin pens on the market; they are also compatible with Eli Lilly's Forsteo (osteoporosis) and Humatrope Pen 3 (growth hormone) devices. To ensure maximum patient comfort, each needle is produced with the most advanced technologies:the triple sharpening allows to reduce the pressure needed to insert the needle tip into the skin;
unique lubrication reduces needle penetration resistance;
the special smoothing treatment ensures ideal sharpening and removes any metal residue, allowing the needle to penetrate more easily;
Thin Wall technology: the needle has a larger internal diameter, which results in better insulin flow capacity and reduced penetration force.
How to use
BD Micro-fine pen needles are compatible with all currently available diabetes pens. Using the appropriate length needle and proper injection technique ensures effective, comfortable and safe subcutaneous insulin injection, minimizing the risk of intramuscular injections.
